Jai Eastland is the proud of owner and Artistic Director of Excite Dance & Cheer Company as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Jai has been in the dance industry for over 30 years dancing for Disney, performing, entertaining and choreographing for various productions and training dancers into their professional careers. She is thrilled to be offering such a special opportunity to share her passion for the arts and movement with dancers right in the comfort of their schools. So many dancers/cheerleaders do not have the opportunity to train at a studio due to time, finances, convenience, etc so having the same quality instructors, for a fraction of the cost and brought directly to your students school, is the goal of Excite and we are so thrilled your student is a part of it. Jai, along with her husband Brian, help run all the maintenance behind the scenes so definitely look out for them at performances and say hello. Jai has three sons who are also dancers & theatre majors in college, and they are also a huge part of the success of Excite Dance & Cheer. We are a military family, faith based, and so proud to serve the community in this way. We hope to meet each and every one of you.

Hi, my name is Taysia, and I’m 28 years young. I’m originally from the Bay Area, where my love for dance began at the age of 7. While spending time as a cheerleader in middle school, I trained competitively throughout my childhood, through high school and in college. I am trained in a wide range of styles including ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz, contemporary, and Horton, and I love continuing to grow and evolve as a dancer. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to perform halftime shows for the Harlem Globetrotters, as well as audition for professional opportunities including the Arizona Cardinals and Princess Cruise Lines. Dance has always been a huge part of who I am, but my true passion lies in teaching and inspiring others. I love working with dancers of all ages and watching their love for dance grow. My goal as an instructor is to create a fun, supportive space where each student can be themselves.

Miss Dawson has been dancing since she was 2 years old and is passionate about sharing her love of dance with the next generation! She has performed in professional shows, music videos, commercials, and live events, and is trained in many dance styles, including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, lyrical, and contemporary. She can’t wait to help her students grow their confidence, creativity, and love for dance. Fun fact: She knows way too many movie quotes and internet memes and loves making people laugh!

Coach Shaquille, and I’m beyond excited to start this new season with all of you! I’m passionate about helping young athletes grow, build confidence, develop their skills, and—most importantly—have fun while doing it. I’m looking forward to meeting all of my new athletes, getting to know each of you, and watching this team grow together. Hi, my name is Kendyl Zaniewski. I am a senior Dance major at Las Vegas Academy Of The Arts. I've been dancing since the age of two and I'm very excited to start this new season!

Hey ! I’m coach Jay, a Dance & Cheer Coach with a passion for training and inspiring the youth. I specialize in technique, coordination, and confidence building. I enjoy helping new dancers develop skills while teaching them teamwork, discipline, and a love for their craft.

Ruby Messina is a 2x Dance Champion & awarded Professional, Pivot Dance Company Alum Soloist, 2 consecutive years 1st place award winning Young Champion of America choreographer. Ruby began dancing at 3 years of age, she has trained in multiple dance disciplines with various dance companies/ teams including Pom/Cheer growing up and through college. She has a double Major in Dance Performance/ Choreography & Dance Production (AA Dance & BFA Dance); Alma Matters: CSUF, IVC, UNLV with a Commercial Dance Certification from AMDA, Los Angeles. Ruby’s career in the dance industry has expanded to include work in TV/Commercial; Music Videos, Film, Concert, Events. Ruby’s dedication has affiliated Works as: Ambassador, Talent, Dance/Cheer Pom Coach, Dance Educator/Advisor, Dance on Film Director, Artistic Director, Film/Production Producer, Dance Technique Specialist, Competition Coach, Cheer/Dance Judge, Choreographer (Competitions, Shows/Events, Productions, Education). My name is Annika. I have been dancing for 13 years with professional training. When I was younger I danced with my brother in krump and from there as I got older that exposed me to hiphop, popping, and locking. From there around age 7 I fell in love with dance and explored more into different styles, like ballet, contemporary, jazz, modern dance, tap etc. I’ve trained in all of these styles for years and still do. Fun Facts - I love children - I can rollerblade - I am very good at painting and drawing - My initials are ABC :)

My name Is Jessica and I have been teaching dance since I was 20 years old and teaching kids since I was 18. I specialize in hip hop, contemporary and aerobic freestyle as well as being well versed in acro, tap, jazz, lyrical and ballet. I also really appreciate working with the disadvantaged youth as it has developed my patience and helped me be more in tune with myself as a teacher and as a person. I model on the side and love working with different creators, influencers, and artists. I also sing and teach vocals here and there. I am happy to be part of the team and I am here for the growth and personal development of the students through dance.

Hi, my name is Taliyah Velyines I am 23 years old engaged and I have one daughter. l've been a cheerleader for about 10 years, and in that time, l've developed strong skills in teamwork, coaching, and injury prevention. I've also successfully led a competitive cheer program where I focused on performance excellence and sportsmanship. I also was a cheerleader for Mission oak Highschool doing court side/Sideline and more. Cheerleading/ Coaching is my passion!!

London has been dancing and cheering most of her young life and specifically trained in Tahitian before developing a love for cheerleading. London is a traveling competitive cheerleader and is a senior in HS. She enjoys staying active and trying new things, which has led her to participate in eight different sports and five clubs. Outside of my activities, she loves traveling and exploring new places and cultures.

Hi! My name is Cameron, and I am a recent college graduate with a passion for movement and expression. I have participated in gymnastics for nearly 10 years, and I have done cheerleading for 4 years. Not only, but some ,ay recognize me as a former camp counselor and gymnastics coach from Gym and Fit Henderson!

Gwen-Renae' is a dedicated and versatile dancer with years of experience in styles such as jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and jazz funk. She has been teaching for 6 years now and this will be her third season with Excite.

Hi! My name is Nia I have a total of 8 year of dance experience while also having 5 years of cheer experience I love going to the gym swimming and dancing and my favorite color is pink!

Alice has been dancing since the age of four, beginning her performance journey in elementary school and continuing her training in a wide variety of dance styles through college. While attending San Jose State University, she had the incredible opportunity to work directly with professional choreographers and train with the Limón West Dance Company. Her love of performance also led her to cheerleading in high school. As a member of the Castro Valley High School cheer squad, Alice was part of the first team since 1985–86 to win competitive championships during both her junior and senior years, helping establish a new championship legacy under the school’s Trojan name. She went on to cheer and lead her team throughout her three years at Chabot College, participating in USA and NCA cheer camps and learning from professional choreographers along the way. After earning her BA in Dance from San Jose State University, Alice continued her training for another 10 years at Arthur Murray Dance Studio, participating in competitions and spotlight performances. Since moving to Las Vegas, she has continued to grow as a dancer through classes with DivaDance and Fred Astaire Dance Studio. With a lifelong passion for dance, performance, and cheer, Alice is excited to bring her experience, enthusiasm, and love of the performing arts to Excite Dance & Cheer!
